The Ford Mustang Has Powerful Engines With Little Competition

The Ford Mustang has dominated the muscle car niche in North America for generations. Cortese Ford sells this four-seat car at the latest retail prices. Customers can choose from the Shelby, Fastback, Convertible, and BULLITT trims in our inventory. Three transmission options and a standard rear-wheel drive are some other notable performance highlights of this sports car.

Under the hood, the Shelby GT350 boasts a V8 engine block that has a flat-plane crankshaft for optimum performance. Engineered to burn octane 93 gasoline, the 5.2 L powertrain has a class-exclusive redline of 8,250 RPM.

Powered by a supercharger, the Shelby GT500's eight-cylinder engine has a cross-plane crankshaft. This limited-edition propulsion system whips out more than 750 horsepower and 620 pound-feet of torque. It takes the Shelby GT500 model just under 11 seconds to complete a 0.25-mile lap on a professional-grade track. Additionally, this Mustang trim accelerates from 0 to 60 MPH in just more than 3 seconds on any pavement.
