Cortese Auto Block has been serving the Rochester area since 1975! Patrick Cortese started the business in 1975 after purchasing Scutti Dodge, where he worked for years. His goal was to create an atmosphere that felt like family, both for his employees and his customers. 


By 1985, the Lincoln franchise was added and Mitsubishi to follow in 1990. In 1994, Pat's son John started to run the Dodge store and eventually purchased it from his father. In 2001, the block was offered a Ford store and with that, John Cortese became the youngest Ford dealer in the country at the time. In 2009 the Chrysler, Jeep and Ram franchises were added and in 2018 the Auto Block expanded to include motorcycles with Cortese Cycle Sales.


John Cortese, and his children Samantha and Johnny are carrying on Pat's legacy by providing customers with a friendly, honest and positive customer experience.
