Since the Ford Focus RS debuted at the Geneva Motor Show, the automotive world has been abuzz with rumors about just what the penultimate hot hatch in the Blue Oval's lineup would be capable of. We got our answers recently, ahead of, and at the Goodwood Festival of Speed (the same event where we saw the Focus ST last year).

Ford has delivered us with one heck of a hot hatch. With 345 horsepower from its Mustang-derived 2.3L EcoBoost, it arguably transcends the notion of "hot hatch" entirely (it also comes with AWD). The real trick came at Goodwood, where driver Ken Block was tasked with putting the new racer through its paces. Hear what he had to say in the video below.

The new Focus RS will arrive as a 2016 model next spring.
